It was closed. I think there was only one place in town open to get something to eat.
I would like to review this restaurant but it is impossible because it is never open. We stayed at their motel last year and it was a Tuesday so the owner told us that "she doesn't open the restaurant on a Tuesday" so she suggested that we walk a couple of hundred yards to the hotel to have a pub meal. Today, we arrived in Cooryong and almost everything was booked out but we drove to Riley's Restaurant to try again and her excuse today for it being closed was that "the chef was on holidays." This restaurant is a joke and it deserves to do very poorly as it's never open and the owner just couldn't care less - take it or leave it. One would have thought that with the motels full, it would have been a good time to open the restaurant. Absolutely hopeless!!!
